There is a tradition in many groups that, once this occurs, that thread is over, and whoever mentioned the Nazis has automatically lost whatever argument was in progress. Godwin's Law thus practically guarantees the existence of an upper bound on thread length in those groups. However there is also a widely- recognized codicil that any intentional triggering of Godwin's Law in order to invoke its thread-ending effects will be unsuccessful.

Re: helichopter landed on everest!
it would have been more fitting in Deffeh's hoarding thread.

Re: helichopter landed on everest!
And it's possible for a whole month per year. How ace. (Everest sits in the jet-stream usually see)
Although the fact that it's the highest takeoff/landing on earth possible ever - is pretty cool.

Re: helichopter landed on everest!
I did n`t know helecopters could fly that high. Impressive and dangerous, especially with all those fast high altitude winds. He must be flying in the jet stream or something.

Re: helichopter landed on everest!
It's impressive because helicopers have to work much harder that high due to the thinner air. Most couldn't make it 1/4 of the way up.

Yeah, your`re right. Fixed wing aircraft get by this by flying faster to generate more lift.
