Wasnt blanks though...looked like proper rounds to me.

Even if it was blanks they'd kill you (or seriously fk you up)if you pulled the trigger with the gun at your temple.


Was fun,thought it was very engaging. Even if he was dramaticising things.

I personally find him much more interesting and enjoyable to watch than any other psychologial/regular magician-type-person.

Was hardly russian roulette though, you have to spin the chamber and fire with that.
Thing about that is the bullet usually weighs down the chamber and settles at the bottom end of the gun and rarely at the top (though its still unbelivably risky)

And the guy had like 1200 candidates, and he was allowed to choose the guy he (thought) he could manipulate most...

if you put the bullet in the last chamber (the one that would fire 6th) then he would have had no chances of dying cos he isn't going to click off 5 shots and aim the 6th at his head... the guy prolly thought of this and loaded it into the 5th which darren had predicted. i'd of put it in the first and acted all dodgy.

If some of you ppl had actually watched the show then you wouldnt be making assumptions and so on.

Anyway, apparently in the UK the only person who is allowed to load a gun is a Qualified Armourer so they said they had to go somewhere where that law wasn't in place.
(this is all just for effect as you will find out later on,in Jersey the law is just as strict)

He had 12,000 applicants. Wittled that down to around 1000 ppl they got to send in videotapes.
From those he chose 100 ppl he wanted to go to london to be all chopped down to the 5 he would have on the night.

He did have a blank round in the gun it seems, thing was, a blank can do just as much damage as a real one (this was shown in the show also and I've used them in the army myself)

Anyway, the Jersey cops basically ruined the mystery surrounding it today...

I don't think that is right.

My friend shoots for the UK and he owns a .22 rifle.

And when I used to shoot with him at 15 and 16, with .22 rifles (sounds more fun than it is, trust me. that's why I gave it up and he continued doing it) I was allowed to load them?

Also when I was in the CCF at school, we loaded L98s and LSWs.



Incidentally, I'm not some army nut who knows all about guns and stuff. I'm not into guns at all (although I did feel quite nostalgic when I went in a toy shop the other day, I had a great urge to buy a pump-action shotgun and pretend to be Arnie...).

I don't think that is right.
I really should have said "According to Mr.Brown only qualified armourers can load a gun in the UK"
because in the show that's what they gave as the reason for "leaving" the UK .
