It feels SO good when you spend money
After over a thousand dollars and a very wild weekend in Ontario - the endless Bubble Teas and Tim Horton's, the freezing air of Niagara Falls, the confusing metric system, and Canadian A Steakhouses (or Steakhooses wherever you may be from), the reckless drivers, kinky sex, and the lovely asian chicks of Scarborough - I woke up this morning and decided I needed a laptop - for some reason I felt like I needed one, not sure why because I already have a desktop.

So I went to BestBuy and spent $1600 on a Gateway notebook powered by Pentium 4, 2.8 GHz, 512 GB, 40 GBHD, CD/DVD burner, 17" widescreen, etc. With this constant smile stuck on my face, I set up my notebook online, went to my favorite VW performance parts website, and bought me stuff for my car - a Magnaflow VR6 header kit for $350, and a bigger Magnaflow cat back exhaust kit for $500 - I know someone's gonna spit out the word 'ChaV' but oh well..

Anyway, making money is so much of a BITCH that spending it is so gratifying.

I only use my credit for emergencies. I do owe 'some' for a new tire that have to replace because I ran over a screw on the road, and some legal stuff I did for my mom. Other than that, all my trivial expenses just for my own entertainment I pay straight out of my checking account.

Since I have a job I kind of lost perspective on this whole money thing. I'm buying computers, camera's, am planning trips...
Though spending the money the MOMENT you do it feels good, it usually has this "Oh my god, what have I done?!" aftermath feeling. Especially when I think about my student debt I still have to pay back.

Yesterday I bought a newspaper without thinking and thus had to choose between a packet of cigarettes or lunch.

During lunch break I read the newspaper whilst smoking.

Tomorrow I get to play ´gasoline or lunch double jeopardy´. I guess I´ll just borrow some money from a colleague, pay back the other colleague with that, trick him in to buying me coffee while doing so, and with the leftovers I can buy lunch.

It´s been a while but I used to be very good at this (lived in a squat for 9 months without any income whatsoever).

I actually posted once about this girl I dated for a couple of weeks only to find out that we were 2nd cousins on one of those 'family gatherings' that we used to hold a lot.
