Re: Eastern
I think the majority of the readers here actually understood what Sjor meant to say, Tesla. And he obviously meant that many people want to see their family in the easter holiday !

Doing what fits best for a majority of people is discrimination?

Anyway, its not like its the first time a PA round starts off when half the uni is busy with other things. I decided not to argue about it

Re: Eastern
I understand the concerns of those wishing to change the date of round start. But if the date is changed now; even by a few days, I am sure there will be a whole different group of people that would be unhappy.

Re: Eastern
I don't have a problem with the round start date. Weekends are usually best since you don't want to miss con/res ticks.

Well we could do a survey but I'm sure Tesla in his new role as Captain Obvious could let us know.

Re: Eastern
I have to say I personally believe its a good idea, even though it would hinder my start by not starting as schedualed.
Theres already been problems getting the game running for the speedgame and with the majority of players celebrating easter and hence probally PATeam, Support staff, #planetarion ops, forum mods theres a good chance they will be busy with other things and Jolt are unlikly to have anyone working at their end so if problems do arise they simply wont get dealt with quickly.
A few more days will move the start away from the Bank holidays. will move it away from the commitments such holidays normally bring to people and give PATeam a few more days to iron out any issues they have and ensure the rounds as ready as it could be

Indeed. You either have the time for PA, or you don't. Its cool that you have other things you should be doing !
You could delay it, but everyone has a reason why it should be when they want it.
EDIT: Negrep for this? Nice one !

Re: Eastern
Unfortunately I finish uni and begin working full time next month. Could we postpone the round until about 2055 when I retire?

I like this idea, but if you die before then, are you always going to wonder if you could've won the round if we started as planned?
