Have patience.
The new owners will make an announcement as soon as they 'feel like it'.

So long as they respect the game/community, and PA doesn't end up commercialized into oblivion, I don't care who buys it.

I wouldn't mind a corporation buying it and raising the price a few dollars to pay for it, but is if it is AOL or MS, or Yahoo!, and they restrict it to members I am not going to pay $20 a month and $15 a round, to play an online-browser game.

While I agree, the commericialization aspect can't be taken that far... I mean, "PA Gear" is about as far as any company could take Planetarion.
It's not as if I want to purchase a genuine Synthetic_Sid plush toy.

But they have authentic Shiny Pate (tm) features! And the new line comes with the Political Manipulation module (though it's a bit rusty still...)

Trading Card Games perhaps. I will stack my deck with a Fury-Titans combonination, but still keep heros like Dreadnought and Kileman ready at hand should they use the broad-ranged Killmark attacks.

Microsoft bought it and it will only run on X-Box connected to AOL.
They've upgraded Astropods to Astropod 2000 Professional but they are now eta-18 and use 100000 Eonium each to launch.

It's all about finding the right products for your customers. While you might not be interested in a plush toy, just imagine how much money you could make with alliance-HC voodoo dolls.

Dear lord, I just hope it was someone who wont charge in norwegian funny money... My CC company called me to ask if I had my card stolen when I paid for one of the rounds. But then again, maybe its someone who has more of a clue how to make money then 5th seasons. ^^

Actually you should hope its MS, as they have enough money to hold this game up as it should be, and defenetly have enough money to have a free round or two to get more ppl on it. BUT i very much doubt it would be anything for MS to look into.

MS would be bad, you'd need a company that is big but still has innovative ideas.
Man I wish Apple wouldve bought it :/ (hey maybe they did )

i wonder how many people would volunteer to do free work if EA or Sony bought it
i surely wouldnt like EA to buy it - we would get endless repetitions of the same product every year with minor changes
well its not like we aren't used to that by now .. but still :P
