Ever Wondered what would happen ...
If you reached a point in your life where you figured "Ive nothing more to really do with my life, i dont see a purpose or a future in my life".

Now , im pondering this of late because i actually considered my options on this during a hypothetical debate earlier today in work. I pondered whether suicide would be an option. Then i realised thats for people who never really had anything to offer in the first place.

"Hey , You , Outta the Gene Pool" , etc etc.

And i came across a really good ideal. One which i may have discussed in moments of stress before.

Hate.

Doesnt really require a lot of effort, although it does require a good degree of thought to work out how to really hate someone, and how to really **** upon them from a great height. Its easy, just convince yourself you dislike someone (unbelievably easy, people on here manage it with just a sentence), and away you go.

You dont really even need a reason. You can just decide you hate someone and launch into them with venom , bile , anger , and vicious , unrelenting forms of mental torment.

Any thoughts?

I can't really imagine getting to a point where there's nothing left to live for. There's always something you can do in this zany world of ours!

As for hate, it's very destructive, how about something constructive for a change, like love.

Id pretty much say that aspect has been fully explored, and rejected as having too many uncontrollable variables, and a generally unsatisfactory end product.

Hate is Great. It never stops , never changes. Everyone loves a constant in their lives.

Hate can stop just as easily as love can. Sometimes you just stop hating someone / something for no reason and all you're left with is bitterness, a sense of emptiness and you just ask yourself why you hated that thing / person in the first place. Much like love really. Opposite ends of the emotional spectrum yet so similar.

I like to think of it as the circle of life.

See , because hate is such an irrational emotion in the first place, should you find yourself no longer hating a particular individual , you can simply transfer this hatred to someone else. Theres no permissions involved, and you know with 100% certainty what the end result will be.

Yes, yes, same for love. You love your hamster, then it dies. So, you buy a goldfish and love that instead. Or you love your wife, then she leaves you, so you find someone else. All part of the circle of life, etc...

Hate is excellent, and revenge is a dish best served cold.

The last person to cross me in a serious way, spent 4 months in hospital and had his shoulder rebuilt after I dropped a 4lb lump hammer on him from 5 floors up.

I aimed for his head and missed by 2 inches, smashing his shoulder and ribcage to such an extent they had to rebuild it.

As I said I was 16 years old, this complete arsehole of a bloke, who's job it was to train me in my trade had a bad day, he took it out on me, and kicked me from one end of the works to the other, and down 4 flights of steel staircase, I was black and blue from head to toe, and had 2 broken fingers and 3 weeks off work.

I reported the incident, and he denied it (obviously) and claimed I had tripped and fallen down the stairs.

I plotted my revenge, and exacted it with the intent to kill him, that is not an exageration, the police and HSE investigated the "accident" and I was cleared.

When he came back to work, I managed to speak to him in the rest room alone, and told him, I did it deliberately. and that if he tried to cross me again, I would kill him.

He quit his job the following week.

I'm not sure I know what "hate" is.

If I do know, I know hating things or people who share existance is as stupid and pointless as suicide. That there is only one thing/person to hate.
