The appointed hour has arrived
My parents own a flat in Glasgow.
I live(d) there on reduced rate charges.
Because the rates are low i don't really complain when they do shitty things proper landlords shouldnt (like turn up unanounced etc).
4 1/2 months ago i was given 48 hours notice to move EVERYTHING out of the flat as they had decided to renovate it.
The work was due to last 3 weeks after which i was to move back in.
I lived with my parents and commuted to work (1 hour away by train).
Anyways long story short my part time job finished and my parents ruled that i wasn't allowed to move back into the flat until i had got another job.
Despite trying i haven't been able to get another job.
Tomorrow however i start back at my old job.
AFTER 4 1/2 MONTHS OF LIVING WITH MY PARENTS AND GENERALLY HAVING TO PUT UP WITH AN UNBELIEVABLY LARGE AMOUNT OF SHIT I AM FINALLY THANK THE ****ING LORD GOING TO BE FREE!
Anyways this is "me" telling "you" that "i wont be about very much in the forseeable future".
Try not to miss me too much.

Really depends. How much do your parents annoy you.
It's like having cancer but needing a piss really badly. Once you go, sure, you've still got cancer - but at least you got some relief.

Put it this way ...
I think people on this forum know i am quite into Fight Club. Anyways i've tried to view staying at home with my parents for 4 1/2 months as my attempt at hitting bottom. TBH i REALLY don't want to know if it's possible for me to drop any further because the thought of things actually being worse than this terrifies me (if it is possible for things to get worse then the only extra distance i think i'd end up going down is another 6 feet).
Does that give you any indication of how bad i view things to be?

Do you have a contract for this flat you're going to be occupying or is it all just informal arrangements?
