Sort function on alliance page
Any chance it would be ideal to have a sort function that sorts the alliance incomings based on status?
Would save tons of times for DC'ers who just want to focus on those incomings rather than having it clashing with other alliances?

Re: Sort function on alliance page
You mean sorts based upon what alliance the attacker is marked as being?
There is already the option to filter by status (New, in progress, Ally-covered etc.) at the top of the page.

No, based on who the attacker is. If it's PATSA attacking, I'd like to be able to view only PATSA, in terms of that way

This is a very easy to code in, and i think it should be implented

Re: Sort function on alliance page
Can't you just flag the alliance in question as hostile and just dc the ones in red outline?

You know absolutly nothing about the code base.
You know absolutly nothing how the front end renders the data that is being displayed.
Claiming it is easy without knowledge over these 2 factors is a big assumption.
It could be easy, or it could be a lot more complicated then you think.
And to nitpick: if you are coding a sorting algorithm then you are doing it wrong.
Using a sorting algorithm that is already implemented in the language is the way to go, coding a sorting algorithm is not.

Im learning C, and afaik, there is no sorting algorithm allready implented in the C language, so my approach wouldve been to first learn how to code the desired(there is multiple choices for this) sorting alogrithm before adding it in the current code.

How about 'qsort' in 'stdlib.h'?

Re: Sort function on alliance page
This is a silly discussion. Yes, some way of sorting alliance incomings would be nice to have. No, this would not be a huge amount of work, but it's also not done in 5 minutes.

Yes, but it's still a lot to look at on the incoming pages. I like things organised rather than messy.
