I dont know if I should feel damned or blessed. Girls, girls girls girls.... we got lots of girls these days in IPC it seems, I dont know if they get attracted by our gentle nature and soft touch or what it is..... Maybe Smokeh got some particular recruitment scheme in the works. Sure adds to the atmosphere though.

Anyhow, we could need some more guys as well so the feminine side dont take over completely. (damn ugly those new curtains in the council chamber, frankly.... what happend to my blenders ffs).

I'm afraid ladies and gents, simply there have been things said I got a ticking off and this thread was to be deleted. This thread was over rules by far.

There was no purge, this has all been manually done. I.E some poor sap had to go through it and get rid of most of it. Two thirds of the thread has been deleted :/

Unless it's on topic and obides by the rules it'll be closed (ie, 'it's more or less the end'). It's unfortunately not like AD, where a thread can keep going and be considered on topic. On AR touching anything too old is bumping as if the thread is old and the information is new then a new thread should ideally be created as long as no alliance has two threads on the first(ish) page.

If you'd like to discuss this ^^, please don't do so on the thread as it wouldn't be recruiting nor would it be staying long

Those interested in apply for membership in IPC should pay attention to this

These days most of our applicants get turned down and refered to our Jr wing "Credendo Vides" or CV for short. This is done much due to security issues as well as we are aiming to rise the standards a bit meaning we want to make sure our members is made of the right stuff we want. IPC allways been open for all to apply and join as long as they abide by our few rules. Even we want to notch up the standards some we didnt want to turn away people applying much due to this CV was created to still allow for an "open door" policy under the banner of IPC.

We do accept members applying to join IPC as well, not all get turned down, but the decission is made much due to how the application look like. People applying and saying "you are so cool I want to join you guys, bla bla bla yada yada yada" will be turned over to CV with no doubt.

But there is as well the other kind who take their time, hang out in our public chan at #ipc-alliance, get to know people. Then try obtain a few to vouch for them. Not saying you need to have someone vouch for you but it helps. Also take your time and fill out the application and give us detailed info of your alliance history, planetarion experience etc. Even what you do for hobbies, what you play for other games etc helps (we do other things between ticks too you know). However, what goes for all is: We take some time and try look into your application, checking if email address is valid, if your cords are correct and actually yours. (we got a poor sod working on just that).

We dont promise you anything else than a bumpy ride, lots of fun and a good time within our community.

Hello, this is a personal invitation to invite you to an alliance called Credendo Vides.

Credendo Vides, or CV... which means By Believing, One Sees is the Recruitment Alliance for [IPC (The Interplanetary Peace Corps - http://www.ipc-alliance.com/). IPC is the oldest alliance in Planetarion, and the Recruitment Wing has been set up to complement as such.

We are looking for members who have perhaps been deterred from other alliances because of the lack of a community aspect, or perhaps because they are considered a newbie or similar. We are currently looking to make CV more and more independent, so that it can function seperately from its mother alliance IPC.

Members of CV (Credendo Vides) should be able to use IRC, as this is imperative. If you do not know how to use IRC, we will teach you how to use IRC. If you cannot use IRC because of firewall/proxy/etc problems, then we will sort this out seperately. There are no score requirements for CV nor are there any specific activity requirements, but we request that CV members are on IRC for at least 1 hour a day on average. CV members should also comply with IPC Rules (http://rules.ipc-alliance.com/) of which the main rule is that members should not be in any other alliances.

Our main website is currently located on Alliance Hosting whilst our own website is being designed. We find this an efficient way to communicate.

To join CV:

1) Click AH above the links on the Planetarion menu
2) Click My Alliances
3) In the "Join An Alliance" section, write in CV and click "Apply to Alliance"
4) Enter all the details that you are asked for and submit it
5) Wait for your application to be reviewed

We are proud of our IRC activity and we take IRC activity as the most important part of CV. Therefore, do not be afraid to come and talk to us, or just hang out.

When you reach our IRC room, HCs will be opped (as well as P, the service bot for the IRC network, and Gloria, IPCs bot who protects the channels). If you PM any of these people, they will respond as soon as they have the time. Persons you should instantly be looking for are:

Mullaa - Admin
Errtu - Admin

Our current member count, considering we are a fairly new alliance, is very limited. I am, of course, not at liberty to divulge exact numbers but it is in the range of 50-100 members. This we believe will reduce before it increases - we will be weeding out inactives.

Allies and other alliance relations are shared with those of IPC. Obviously we are very closely allied with the above, but we are also a member of CUDOS just as the above alliances are. We have the [CUDOS] to be different, just as IPC, F-Crew, LOST and Naviter do. This means that CV members get all the perks that IPC and F-Crew members get when it comes to attacking, defending, etc. as well as attacking and defending with CV herself.

As for why people should join this alliance, we believe that people should join CV because they play the game for fun. If you

As far as I remember CV was a recruiting ground for IPC and F-Crew........yet Smokeh only said it was IPC recruiting? What happened there? Are F-Crew still a part of it or have they removed themselves from the program?

If you read this thread, you would see a post above regarding "paying attention". Go read it, it should give you answear on what you ask for.

As for you have to go through CV to join IPC. We dont allow dual memberships in neither, so you wouldnt be accepted anyhow.

Yes it is possible to join IPC direct, but this is very much the exception, not the rule. There are no hard and fast guideline I can say 'this will allow direct entry into IPC' but all applications are considered.

I have apologised to Keystroke, and Grebe, and Smokeh who i affected in the first place. My attitude on PA has changed, and I believe myself to finally have a mature attitude.

IPC, brought me into PA, they are a really nice bunch of people, who have a great comand structure, and are incredibly organised.
I am suprised more people are not in there.

It was round 4 I was in IPC, but soon into round 5, I left after a silly action, that cost my place in IPC.
I have found, that althought I have been through many alliances, since then, including:

Fury, NoS, WP, ND, Virus,

that none, have the same feel about them, that IPC does.
I just cant stay away from these guys, and I dunno how you other people can too!

The main people,to look out for in IPC are:

Keystroke = real nice guy, keeps his cool, and wont tolerate bad behaviour
Smokeh = Recruitment (head of still?). He is cool, calm, collected, and a really nice person to talk to
Yarat = Nice fella, not sure of his job, but he is always around, helping ppl out.

Those are just a few of the great guys in IPC.
so why dont you drop in, and say hello
