Cat's only problem is the lack of ship loss so...
There is nothing to fear when landing on them or def from them. Now the question is what can be done about it?
How about something else other than ship destruction to make people think twice about landing. I was thinking today about what can possibly work...
When a cat's ship EMPs it's target ship how about with the freezing it "shuts down enemy ship's systems." In doing so causing a delay in return time.
This delay could be something like 1 tick. Now that doesn't seem like a whole lot, but it does fit into the theme of the race, and can open up new strategies involving fcing that could make an attacker think twice. For example, a person lands on said planet involving defense from a cat. X-amt. of ships are frozen and shut down. The fleet is then forced to stay at the planet for 1 tick. After tick fleet returns home as usual.
Now anything can be organized involving that landing fleet in that 1 tick time, and can make people think twice when landing against cat defense instead of thinking that the result doesn't matter since cat ships don't kill.
