Re: [football] the big league rnd 4
a suggestion to solve the postponement problem rather than wait for replays...
Code:
02 [newcastle] kurashima v furball [middlesbro]
02 [fulham] JC v Reidy [Sunderland]
03 [arsenal] midge5 v sniborp [man utd]
These fixtures keep the same opponents, and the same teams with priority for those who already predicted (as far as was possible). People in bold would have to predict again , while the others would have their existing predictions used twice.
better ideas are welcome
(Bolton v Liverpool is available as an alternative unused fixture)

Re: [football] the big league rnd 4
I might leave checking these till next year
I thought I'd got a 0-0 draw for my terrible wigan>blackburn prediction, but I just noticed JC edited in a HT away earlier. (That'll put you two points behind with a game in hand, Kura too probably).

I had a change of mind just before leaving for Wigan and decided to be more optimistic .

Re: [football] the big league rnd 4
This is the current list for the final predictions...
If anyone wants to make last minute changes, (eg those who've put Owen to score ), do so in new posts as I won't be going through the last two pages again.
Those who have one score being used twice to cover postponements (kura, reidy, sniborp) can have different predictions in each game if they want to.

Re: [football] the big league rnd 4
it hurts me to put west brom to win anything ever; I thought a draw was most likely but I think I saw somewhere that west brom's recent home form was W3 D1 L1 while villa's away form was W1 D3 L1 and that swung it in "the shits" favour.
The HT draw will probably give me a point

Here's to hoping! Unlikely though
It seems as though every time I win the people above me all win as well

Oh what, so next season it will be between Chelsea and Portsmouth as to who can waste the most money on-route to winning the title.
What has this league become.

Harsh, lost 4th place in the last match.
Still, Birmingham/Wigan was a tough one to predict.

Don't worry, there'll be a new league for the second half of the season. Hopefully with enough people to last until the end this time
