Re: [football] the big league rnd 4
I'm really not trying to rob Phang of a point or cling onto a lead! I'm just using the same source for first scorer as I have for this entire league.
If the FA panel changes who the goal is awarded to, I'll happily adjust the table.

It is awkward though when it's a match I'm involved with, and I'm top of the table. The rules have always reflected what the players want, and as such if people really think I'm wrong on this, I would change it.

A bad day. So many non-predictors has led to some
harsh point awarding. The 2W, 1D, 0L system for
playing against non-predictors sometimes produces what
could be seen as unfair results (definitely for sniborp and
koen, arguably for MrL etc)

I would have but I just quickly look for a post from everyone on the list when I do reminders... I don't actually read the details until after the games.

*I really think I should go back through old results and update them
to reflect 2+ = win, 1 or 0 = draw when people play against non-predictors
as often people are scoring less than they probably would have if their
opponent had predicted and that's not really fair.

Re: [football] the big league rnd 4
damn I just noticed lokken didn't predict, and I didn't remind him
oh well, he probably wouldn't have beaten your 4 pts anyway (I'll update later)
EDIT
quick note - new fixtures will be posted wednesday evening (for sat/sun)
I know there are premiership matches on wednesday but I'm not including them.
I do intend modifying the table to reflect the deluge of recent non-predicting but it's not something I'm looking forward to.

Re: [football] the big league rnd 4
updated league table
I backdated the rule change that if you play a non-predictor, you now get a draw if you score 0 or 1, and a win if you score 2+.
Code:
P W D L F A Pts

1-X 16 9 4 3 33 25 31

LHC 16 7 2 7 23 24 23
roadrunner 16 5 7 4 23 20 22
Apothos 16 6 4 6 17 22 22
lokken 16 6 3 7 24 27 21
