I see with West Brom relegated
Aston Villa have taken up the "worst away strip possible" mantle.
Id also like to say maybe the media will now realise how **** villa really are. They will be fighting to avoid relegation, and ive seen pundits predict them up to 8th or 9th. Just because they are one of the "old guard", doesnt mean they arent ****.
Good to see Pires getting in on the diving, Ljunberg not retreating in the wall, Campbell reiterating the fact that hes an overhyped thug, and Man utd getting an offside goal.
God how ive missed this

I just can't wait to see Liverpool vs the new Chelsea, but I will have too, unless Kurashima invents a time machine. If he did invent one, I wonder if it would be better to go back in time and change something, or go forwards and learn something new.

Me being a villa fan, sincerely hope they do not get relegated.
I dont think they will be relegated, but a place around 12th-15th is probably most likely.
Teams like Liecester though, might just give up now (i hope)
I also think the first round of PL waas a nice fresh one, Blackburn impressed me(yay emerton), and it was nice that my country m8 Iversen is back on the scoresheet.
Ronaldo impressed(as i predicted ), but i think today the fun will really start.
Chealsea vs Pool
Newcastle vs Leeds
Im really looking forward to what leeds will manage this year.

You were correct in the all the criticism of Arsenal, except the Pires one. He slipped, got up and chased after the ball. He didn't even appeal, and certainly wasn't looking for a penalty.
Also, that Ljungberg comment, while true, is hardly an 'Arsenal thing', and that was a rather unnecessary dig.
And van Nistelrooy missed another penalty! Hurrah!

I predict that Liverpool will beat Chelsea today. My reasoning for this is that Liverpool are at home, have beaten Chelsea at Anfield for the last few seasons, and the Chelsea side are hardly a team yet. 3 - 1 to Liverpool
Newcastle will beat Leeds. Newcastle are a strong side, full of confidence, whereas Leeds aren't. 2 - 0 to Newcastle

Villa were thoroughly outplayed by Pompey once our nerves settled. Only Barry was the really impressive player out of them and he was a right **** the whole game, so I'm not too bothered about why he got his sending off.
Villa look as if they are a 'solid' team with a Colombian Coffee Merchant and a Swedish porn star up front. The performance of those two was as awful as their away kit.
We weren't bad though, we might have a half chance of staying up, especially if we get a couple of players in to beef up the squad and keep Amdy Faye fit.
and Graham Barber, there are nationwide refs better than this idiot.
Blackburn get performance of the day firstly for playing well and secondly for making Wolves look like idiots.

Speaking of West Brom:
GIRL'S DIARY:
Sunday 11th May 2003.
Saw John in the evening and he was acting really strangely. I went shopping in the afternoon with the girls and I did turn up a bit late so I thought it might be that. The bar was really crowded and loud so I suggested we go somewhere quieter to talk. He was still very subdued and distracted so I suggested we go somewhere nice to eat.
All through dinner he just didn't seem himself; he hardly laughed, and didn't seem to be paying any attention to me or to what I was saying. I just knew that something was wrong. He dropped me back home and I wondered if he was going to come in; he hesitated, but followed. I asked him again if there was something the matter but he just half shook his head and turned the television on. After about 10 minutes of silence, I said I was going upstairs to bed. I put my arms around him and told him that I loved him deeply. He just gave a sigh, and a sad sort of smile. He didn't follow me up, but later he did, and I was surprised when we made love. He still seemed distant and a bit cold, and I started to think that he was going to leave me, and that he had found someone else. I cried myself to sleep.
BOY'S DIARY:
Sunday 11th May 2003.
West Brom relegated today. Gutted. Got a shag though.
Actually it's supposed to be West Ham, but who cares?
