Cult star, cult film?
Ghost World is on tonight on Channel 4 at 11:05pm.
For those who like Thora Birch.

I like that film.
Obligatory "the comic is better though" comment.

I'm rather hoping to watch that film at some point in the future.

I don't think there's any sort of secret to "get". It's more an issue of liking the pace of the film, feeling some sort of affinity with the characters etc. If you're into action movies you'd find it a bit dull.

Re: Cult star, cult film?
hmm, depends what mood i'm in.
Usual Suspects, Shawshank Redemption - both amazing films.
Also a big fan of the Holy Grail and Life of Brian.
I like certain Tarantino films, American Beauty, Lock Stock etc.
Y tu mama tambien and City of God are my current favourites i guess at the moment... maybe.

Re: Cult star, cult film?
I really liked it - have asked for it on DVD for Christmas.
It isn't a film you "get", you either just like that kind of thing or think it's dull. (oh just realised that's what Dante said)
