To be fair, Chelsea should have conceded a penalty and at least one red card. I don't like talking about teams 'deserving' to win, but Liverpool were most definitely robbed today.

They've turned lampard into a proper little vieira, the Real Vieira has pretty much lost all ambition after trouncing the premiership for so long, and let's face it Keane loves himself too much to care about football.

IF I could be arsed I'd either photoshop him black or cut and paste patrick vieira's head onto that shirt, for the funny but I'm not.

But no-one can disagree, Chelsea have a commanding midfield with hunger... other clubs do not at the moment.

He's doing a lot more than you could imagine in comparison to previous seasons - sure his form this season hasn't been the best but his spirit keeps the team alive. He actually is the best motivator in the team since Tony Adams. He has that status within the team that 'helps' eradicate any teething problems that may arise.

PS Vieira's been prick poor this year. If you need someone to motivate through their presence in the squad why don't you just sign a crippled four year old who loses another limb if arsenal lose their next game? Keane this season is in the top 5 for completed passes, has been generally immense and is the driving force behind United's recovery - he's quite frankly one player they can't replace and unless they can find a similar midfield general sharpish they are going to have a huge hole in the middle of the park. Some say he's arrogant, but he's nigh on always bang on, the only real exception being that when he kind of claimed that Lampard is better than Gerrard.

I for one doubt that Chelsea will throw it away under this manager unless Arsenal go on some kind of special run (which they don't look like doing at the moment) and they get done by Arsenal and Man U.

Wouldn't be shocked if they won all 4, though looking at their injury list at the moment I think they might struggle if it doesn't start improving.

It's fairly obvious when taking them together that the latter statement was taken out of context by the media.

Oh, and I would prefer Lampard in my team. He's less injury prone, doesn't get booked (or sent off) with anywhere near the frequency (although Gerrard has reduced this recently)... Being the best player in the world ever who scores a hat trick every minute doesn't mean anything if you're constantly out of the team for one reason or another.

Whilst it is plausable that you may consider this to be a counter-argument to Sunday's point, it quite clearly isn't, as Mr 8pm was talking about midfields entire. Whether your point is true or not is another matter entirely.
