to find 41 pieces of spam
no one even has my gmail addy, i havent signed up to anything with it

Yeah I receive some spam lately as well but it gets directly sent into my spam folder by gmail itself, which is pretty decent.

There is no spam what so ever in the account I actually use though \o/.

Probably because you have a fairly "guessable" e-mail address Roady, so you're probably included on all sorts of shitty bulk list for Spam. I've received no unsolicited mails in my account thus far, and I've signed up to various things.

Besides, the best things about Gmail are the interface and searching, not the extended space. Space wise Hotmail or Yahoo Mail are fine.
