I think you can do better for your honeymoon, Micheal. Sleeping in a tent isn't very romantic.

Not yet. I'm going out tonight though. I'm going to drink myself silly and put Trill in people's drinks if I get bored.

rr, your task is to find somewhere with tickets for less than 200 quid and then tell me about it.

Re: leeds festival tickets
Nowhere still has them, people who missed out are stupid.
Leeds was the only festival with tickets left.
Tickets were selling fast.
Rumours were circulating for days that they were about to sell out.

Or fortunate, depending on your opinion of Leeds.

Re: leeds festival tickets
3 Day Weekend tickets have now sold out via the 24hr c/c booking line and the internet. However, a limited number of weekend tickets are still available from these branches of HMV stores: Barnsley, Birmingham High Street, Birstall, Bradford, Doncaster, Grimsby, Huddersfield, Hull, Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester, Newcastle, Rotherham, S****horpe, Sheffield, Wakefield and York. Please note that these tickets are only available from HMV for personal callers. Telephone bookings or reservations cannot be accepted.

Don't know if this helps, but it might if you live in one of those places!

Re: leeds festival tickets
I'd imagine it's because festivals aren't only visited by avid music fans, but are treated as a long weekend holiday by most of the british populace now.

I wanted to go to Leeds or Reading too. Damn it. Glastonbury's full of poop again.

Re: leeds festival tickets
I tell myself I'm not going to go because going to a festival by yourself is kind of sad, then at the start of the summer holidays, facing months of boredom, buy tickets for Reading on ebay. £200 seems a lot less then.

Re: leeds festival tickets
I'd go with you!
Some of my friends are going to leeds. I was initally against it as paying that amount of money is stupid and I'm not overly keen on that many of the bands.
But in ten years time the saved money won't mean anything to me. Woe is me.
There was an attractive young lady on newsnight. I was thinking how nice i'd be to meet an attractive lady who really had something to say. On an unrelated note, I really wish I'd bought a ticket to go to Leeds.

By the way, those who want to go to Leeds might want to try http://www.scarletmist.com .
They aren't doing Glastonbury though
