I used to have that problem, when I did I would wet my hair, pull it up and also wet the t-shirt I was sleeping in. It cools you down a lot.

i have this experience every summer
its far from confortable trying to sleep at 30° in a place where the wind does not blow
i used to drench my bed in sweat, and wake up all greasy and wet, and going to uni like that
gosh i hate summer

when i get hot while sleeping i just stick my feet out from under the covers. you can cool down your body just by cooling your feet.
works for me anyways.. maybe cause i'm in hte part of canada that DOESN'T GET TOO HOT :\
