I don't like cheaters like most people, so I just wanna suggest some ideas to stop them:

3. forbid escorting (attacking without the clear aim to take a fair share of the roids)

4. apply a fine to the alliance fund when the alliance has harbored a cheater. Disband ingame alliances which have harbored too many cheaters.

Some of these measures are harsh and will probably be critisized. But in the end you'll lose less players then if you continue like this.

I think point 3 and 4 is ok, point 4 is quite good actually imo.

Then it would be impossible to roid big players from decent alliances. Escorting is an entirely valid tactic, as long as there is no multiing involved.

Point 4 isn't a bad idea. Point 1 and 2 arn't even worth commenting on.

Damn Gerbie I thought you were an intelligent lifeform, this kinda prooves the opposite. EVERY FCKING ALLIANCE has cheaters, so don't pick one out. Since you live in a bureacratic country with civil rights etc you should know the meaning of "innocent until proven guilty"......

Yeah well I know I'm crazy. I don't really expect the first 2 to be actually implemented, but you'll never know. It'd be worthwile.

I was actually thinking about suggesting #1 on the forum of another game I play where LDK is gonna play too next round as it is an easy game to cheat in.
Then I thought: delete all galaxies with an LDK tag or banner as well. And then I remembered the idea of forbidding escorts, so it came on my list.
At that point it struck me you could use the PA ingame alliance to actually force alliances to do something about cheaters by implementing measure #4.
That made me decide to post the thing on PA forums instead. Changed the #2 as this game is random and we will have the ingame alliance thing.

Well, let's just change that first point into:

1. Let's disband any in game alliance that has most illegal signups. that alliance to be disbanded at end off protection.

And to add a few:

5. When planets are caught doing illegal acts pull their fleets before closing them.

6. If someone has advantage from cheating but is not actually possible to find the planet owner responsible punish them to the extent they are profiting. Like when many multifleets are found defending a planet you could for instance take a portion of a planets roids but preferbly take a portion of a planets fleet away. Off course only when significant number of cheating defenders are closed (this can vary on the total amount of defenders and their size). In short make profiting from the efforts of other cheaters less interesting.

Just to add:

1. Improve the admin tools (look at SS's for instance)

2. Investigate all large attacks/defences (be it on a universe or planet-wide scale) as policy, there's bound to be some dodgy activity in there.

3. Any alliance that is found to actively harbour and encourage cheating or fails to get rid of it faces any planet found to be a member of that alliance being closed.

LDK has won 4 rounds (planet atleast) and still you keep saying they can only do it when it's free.. i'm just waiting till you realise you should get a big mouth IN pa instead of outside pa on the boards and actually play instead of whine.

the fact you can't ever get anywhere without cheating doesn't mean no-one can. and OFCOURSE there is cheating in ldk, just like in any other alliance... including yours and i can't be bothered to give the proof as it wouldn't change a thing anyways. if you don't believe me then don't heh... your hc knows of enough cases even they pretend not too..same as in all other alliances..

now as i've said be4... i you have all this proof of me cheating then get me reported and closed it's not that hard temp...(providing you are right ofc) but seeing as you have no proof whatsoever besides the fact you want to flame and moan and bitch it gets more complicated.

i doubt people can really blame me for getting fed up with this same **** over and over again about ldk and if you can... who cares. i can post what i want like anyone else here.

Well, why this is not implemented I'll never know. The bot questions are useless if you can leave a planet logged in for 8 hours.

Hi, I'm Irish and I wasn't offended by that. The mod in question is Dutch himself. I've never seen anyone be prejudiced against themselves :(

I agree 100% w/ Gerbie (and if the alliance has no $$ in the fund, it should become negative, equal to x times the cheaters score). Also, any IPs of cheaters should be BANNED from accessing any part of PA, either permanently, for for a long time (e.g. 5 rds). Once a cheater, always a cheater.

Also, in response to hAl...not only should we do that, but his roids should be distributed between people he has attacked. and his score should not factor into the gal/alliance/etc. score for rankings for the week however long until he gets deleted, as punishment for allowing a cheater (this could be waived if it was his gal that reported him).

i'm refraining from asking whether you're stupid or not because i fear i might offend you.

i was sniping at gerbie for using sterotypes and being basically racist. this says to me it's bad. i edited it out and was amking a statement to him. why is that offensive.

Allthough it would be nice these options look impossible to implement. It is impossible to measure know how much damage is done to someone because of cheating. And for the gals it is fairly difficult as you cannot choose your galm8s and there is nothing forcing people to report cheating or even activly hunt after it.

There SHOULD be a penalty for people who are aware of cheating and fail to report it.

An alliance that reports a cheater can get an incentive: they don't have to pay a fine if they report the cheaters themselves.

I disagree about the generalising: it's generally not true for all individuals. But sometimes it's hard to make individual judgements. Falling back on generalisations gives you at least a (often weak) basis for your judgement when needed. I see enough evidence around me to show that Lithuania is a bad market for Jolt to be active.

I'm not stupid. And you might find it hard to offend me.

Using stereotypes has nothing to do with the fact that I'm racist. Judgeing people on the basis of generalisation is not good, I know. It's better if you can do it on an individual basis. But that simply doesn't seem to work in this case. Multihunting is simply not effective enough, at least it wasn't in this round.

A rather big generalization.

r4 was more a Xanadu victory.

r6 is attributed not to LDK in any circle of friends I've talked the round over with.

r8 is the only real time it can be claimed to be LDK only, even then I attribute it mostly to Titans but that is personal.

r9.5 - Congrats.

Its rather easy to say LDK got this and that, but if you break it down I wouldnt exactly praise LDK.
