suggestion to improve random rounds

Make newscans a non-research item. Last random round many galaxies (including mine) were screwed over by spy planets.

As soon as you got a few rocks, you would get incs, which would pull when you got def.

This round you don't see this. As everyone has newsscans, spy planets are completely useless, and it is nowhere near as frustrating to play in a random galaxy.

I don't think people create strictly spy accounts, especially not in a pay universe. They may create them as scan planets or escorts, and only then use them to spy on their gals.



I like the period before news and mil scans. It's definately the most exciting attack wise. To have every round start like this one would take something away from the game play, rather than add anything, I think.

Information gathering will be different in round 10. There will be no more scans. All will be fixed in round 10. I hope...

But they will try to patch the existing problems first. So it is a must-have like everything that came after MS-DOS 4.01.
