Bonus allocation exploit
If you finish a research, you often have some leftover points. If you start a new research, this leftover point number is kept separate until the first tick, after which it is applied along with the standard points you get that tick. If you go to the bonus page, it shows you have to allocate only the remaining points. The exploit is this: allocating the reduced number of points to a research that has already been started finishes that research without using up the leftover points, allowing you to use them again for the next research.
For example, the Unit Scan research costs 3600, if you have 248 leftover points from a previous research, and you invest 3352 RP from your bonus, it is finished without using the 248 leftover points.
This only works if the research you bonus on has been started.

The outraged poets threw sticks and rocks over the side of the bridge. They were all missing Mary and he felt a contented smug feeling wash over him. He would have given them a coy little wave if the roof hadn't collapsed just then. Mary then found himself in the middle of an understandably shocked family's kitchen table. So he gave them the coy little wave and realized it probably would have been more effective if he hadn't been lying on their turkey.
