Just wondered if there still are anyone playing from the r4 201:13 galaxy?
Had totally forgot about this game until i found some old galpics, man it was fun times.
Furgion still here?Or did they all stop playing?
Wac, BT, VtS, lol its all starting to come back 
Anyone be so kind to give me a fast heads up on whats been going on past 6-7 rounds?

Umm, yea, most of hte old alliances quit. Oldest remaining ones, afaik, are NewDawn, NoS and Wolfpack.
Synthetic_Sid (Fury founder) has returned to form 1up, who're kinda leet. Everything else is either a new alliance or a successor , afaik

considering you played till r6, there should be names and allies you recognize. I suggest connecting to irc.netgamers.org (iirc thats the adress) and goto #Planetarion . Work your way from there

As i recall Wolfpack originated from VtS(Legion) in r3, but wp came back to Legion i beleive in r4 or 5, my memory might be a little hazy though.So is the current wp another breakout?
Ahh Sid, the man knows PA politics.I beleive he had a huge impact on the game, probably one of the people who changed it the most.

But seriously now, both are/were great fun. Fury and Legion both disbanded a few rounds back, but 1up nowadays is kinda the new Fury/Legion, has Sid as leader. Lot of old allies left though.

c'mon guys, yes p2p sucks. But it's important to keep the game at a desent level and 10£ for 3 accs isn't so damn much. it's what most people make in 1 hour work...

Yes it's nice to remember the old times. What i meant is i hate this attitude of "it was all better in the old times". The thing that actually was better about PA was the community and the sheer number of players. The game itself has evolved and it is better now than it was imo. I see a lot of people complaining about PA whom i know they never even played it in the current style. But he, so much for those "1337" players' ability to adapt

Depends on the content in my opinion. There is loads of quality stuff to play on the net which requires paying which I am happy to do but this type of game, planetarion, is so passe, even for free.
