Right, more reports. Thanks to everyone who's submitted, this time I've got a bit more varied collection.

There are some reports I've gotten that won't be here. Either it was cut to save space and time (I've gotten quite a few reports since last time.) Or because it's too fresh. I'm not too keen on posting alliance names on landings that happened today, as it's too easy to hit sandmans/pilkara and figure out where the action's at.

Without any further ado, this is 1up landing on a big mistu planet. They wanted me to take special note of how many fleets are present. So do like 1up say, and take special note of the 6 present fleets.

The combat formula's way of distributing damage makes me wonder if it isn't possible to use situations like this one to cap despite the overwhelming defense. Anyway, this is 1up landing painfully on an LCH.

VGN handed me this little report from a hit on a top gal. Considering there were five attackers, they probably didn't gain much each. But the XP must have been enormous. I'm betting VGN gained the full 3.3k XP off those roids. Nice attempt at a double-cover by WP, but why did this guy leave his CO at home if he thought there might be CR coming?

Another VGN hit on a big planet, this time it's Absolute that's in for a beating. 10 defending fleets, 2 target classes, and not one ship hit. I'm impressed. Again, nice coordination on the part of VGN. Vengeance have a pretty low score:size ratio, so I'm not sure these are representative of their attacks. However, these numbers are probably skewed by their size. I'm betting they have an active core of about 30-40 members and some padding.

This is HR landing on a pr0nstar who didn't get def. Using up all three fleet slots can be painful. Another similar fleet landed next tick taking another 100 roids.

SiN gave me this one, saying the target was DeadlyRock. I can't confirm that it was, but it's a nice attack nonetheless. 11 fleets and still uncovered, yeesh. I'm blaming this one on a lot of flak (to keep bombers unfrozen) and Cath's utterly amazing DE/CR combo.

LCH hitting 1up. I quite like the possibility to execute hits like this in PAX. Defending fleet is worth over three times as much as the attacker, but they still run off with 15% cap for no losses. Nice.

Not really surprised here, you're doing pretty decently though.

I gained a full 7 roids in that VGN CR attack, with my mighty army of ~60 CR ships.

Also please note the massive anti-FR defence in the DE hit we did :-]

And no, we usually don't run attacks quite like that one, normally we do the classic gal-raid. As for our average score etc, we have a lot of smaller planets - we play this game our way, putting the fun first.

Im not claiming to be the expert on alliances, simply becouse I havent been playing alot the last rounds.
But from a distance, it seems that there is just one quality alliance left in pa, and that is 1up.
This is also quite easy to spot, when you notice the average score and average roids per 1up member.

Besides only a handful of alliances could be called quality or elite in PA's lifetime.

totally agree Zhukov. 1up have the most dedication, skill and political thinking in the current climate by a MILE. If they had decided to go with the 100 members again, they'd have walked this round again. Fair play to them on keeping it even, making it an interesting round for everyone else

Sorry to gripe at this thread again (I'm starting to see the merits, as long as it's only Jester putting the reports in) - but surely this is going to make new officers less eager to volunteer?

If I was new and not entirely sure what I was doing, I'd be so worried if I had a few defences to sort out for a tick. What if you screw it up and it ends up on AD as an example of terrible defending from your alliance? Your alliance will be annoyed at you, and you might end up resigning from your position - you don't want to screw up your alliance's reputation, after all.
