Obviously $50 is just for the programmer to get out of bed and move over to his desk. They'll pay for the actual coding later.

On a serious note if any Absolute HC wants i can offer them at a reasonable price public/private pages for alliance operations (supporting news system, BC booking system, DC shift system, memberlist , HC tools, complete stats , ip center , etc).

Its got nothing to do with employment and salary, you are allowed to do small jobs for a 1000kr (164.24$ (http://www.valutakurs.dk/index.asp?content=valutaregn)) over a period of 1 month in Norway without having to pay tax or anything.
So its no illegal no.

1 month, 1 year still means its not illegal in Norway to pay someone 50$ for a job.

Its a unique product specially ordered by someone so your fully allowed to work on it and sell it without paying any tax or anything as long as you are under the amount said earlier. At least in Norway.
