How cool is that!
I've have hardly ever been able to remember my dreams when i wake up the next morning.
Sometimes i see something during the day, that triggers a memory and i remember parts of my dream.
But i've never been able to wake up and think, oh yeah, last night i dreamt about.......

Well, this week i was woken up all of a suddenly by my mobile ringing in the night. I was in a real deep sleep, and due to waking up quickly i could remember what i was dreaming.

Now this week i have been able to remember loads more of my dreams than normal when i wake.
I think maybe i'm begining to learn how to remember, it's cool when you've spent your life not remembering anything before.

Yay for dreams \o/

essentially a lucid dream is conscious control of your dreams.... imagine what you can do in a porno dream... heh.

anyway, it is quite difficult to master, and it is something I can't do with regularity, however strangely it is something that happens to me whenever I am about to have a nightmare.. I just take over the dream and change it. there are some guides on how to teach yourself to lucid dream on the internet. essentially part of it comes from training your mind how to recognise that you are dreaming... so when you wake in the morning write absolutely everything you can remember about the dream.. who was in it, what they said, what heppened, if strange things happened and so on, and once you do this you train your mind to know what a dream is, and then you are on the way to controlling it.

I think I've only had lucid dreams twice, last one being at least a few years ago. Rare, but it is enjoyable being god.

I was lifting up a girl's dress in last night's dream.

It was a red dress.

It was a small room with boxes.

I know this girl.

I remember something about a football pitch too I think, but thaty's it.

now keep doing this (recalling dreams - not lifting dresses) and then you will start to learn all the little cues in the dreams and recognise that you are dreaming (i.e. completely fictional things, like ever getting that close to a girl

)

my dream last night

for starters everything was cartoon like, kinda Manga-style

There was some sort of quest type thing we had to go on, it involved lots of travelling, there were these two cats with magical powers but we didn't know they were magical.

At one stage we were on some kind of boat, cept it wasn't really a boat, was more like a long box with a separate compartment for each person (like the draw things in morgues where they put dead bodies) but with a door that swung outwords on each one. There was some kind of storm or something and my door fell off so i was like travelling with the sea a few feet beneath my face.

Another stage we were in the mountains and there was this evil monster thing in a cave that looked a lot like that thing from Maro 64, a big black ball type head on a leash, but the magical cats froze up the entance to the cave so we didn't notice it and kept on walking

There was also this kinda tunnel thing we walked along and there was a massive pond/march/mud in the way so we had to run and jump over it but everyone cept me fell in and were covered in mud.

I remember one of the people i was with being captured or something but we all had to go on and leave him to die but then at the end he came back as a ghost and saved us all.

i remembered much more when i woke up this morning but have forgotten most of it now

oh and i always have weird dreams

Since wednesday the 19th of february i have been recording my dreams on my computer, and analysing them.

Interesting sometimes, disturbing others.

1. Dream you have magical powers and can do anything.
2. Magically make it so that your powers will continue, after waking up.
3. Magically make it so that step 2 applies to actually waking up, not just dreaming of waking up.

When I was smaller I used to remember almost all my dreams and lucid dream a lot. The I started highschool and sleep kinda went down the drain. That continued. I haven't tested but I'm fairly sure I dont fall into REM state any more.

Kinda sucks, but I want to relearn once things start to calm down for me.
