good film trilogys
over the weekend, me and some mates sat and watched the die hard films, after random channel hopping discoivered the first one on TV
so, we are looking to do the same this week, but, we need a really good trilogy to watch, our thoughts so far are either the beverley hills cop films or the evil dead trilogy, but can anyone think of any other good trilogys to sit and watch in a single evening with some kronenburg and junk food???

Re: good film trilogys
I watched Die Hard on DVD this weekend - inadvertently whilst it was on TV, also.
Although I was on my own on my bunk eating a chinese meal.
Still, spooky.

Re: good film trilogys
Terminator 3 was absoloutely goddamn wank in comparison to the 2 films before it. It does NOT make a decent trilogy.

You could watch Kevin Smith's New Jersey "trilogy" (Clerks, Mallrats, Chasing Amy) and try to ignore the last two.

No , because Red Dragon was a shitty remake of an infinitely superior film (Manhunter).

Watch Under Siege and Under Siege 2. By the time you've finished with those you'll be so close to suicide that you won't want to watch a third film :p

Theres an Under Siege 3?
AFAIK , that concept was canned years back after Seagal became a box office kiss of death at 20 stone.

Re: good film trilogys
Oh and did I mention I have digital camera pictures and video involving emma + clothing / leather underwear / lack of clothing?
Just thought that might tickle your fancy.
They're on an Apache installation at http://skiddy.dyndns.org.
Unfortunately they're encrypted quite heavily.
Good luck.

Re: good film trilogies
I liked Red Dragon kura, Manhunter was just not it for me.... it never engrossed me, However I felt Ralph Feinnes and Ed Norton did utterly superb acting which won it for me. However I thought Hannibal was a pile of tripe.
Batman
Batman Returns
Batman Forever (just manages to make good thanks to a wonderful portrayal of the riddler imo)
Then my special <3 Tom Cruise <3 Cheese Trilogy
Top Gun
Days of Thunder
Cocktail
Seriously those three movies just make me euphoric

Re: good film trilogies
While you're at it, why stick to 3?
Alien 1 -> 4
Rocky 1 -> 5
Rush Hour 1 + 2
Speed 1 + 2
Police Academy whatever numbers...
JURASSIC PARK 1 -> 3 (hasn't been mentioned yet, but I'm sure it's gonna be flamed now)
Also there are 3 Ali G videos...
