How can I delete the media player history that shows the recent files you have opened when you pulldown the file menu?
I have tried opeing other files to replace them but they dont.

Looking at porn on a family computer is bad.
But try looking in regedit under : HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\MediaPlayer\Player\RecentFileList
(WinXP)

The new version has the option to not use a recent file list when you install it, and probably in the preferences menu too.
