Neighbours *SPOILERS*
I've not seen it in ages.
The bit at the start where they replay some of the last episodes drama has fires and people trapped in the burning pub and such.
Today's episode is called "Beyond Recognition".
I'm gonna take a guess at what's gonna happen today.
edit: i put a *spoilers* tag in the title

Re: Neighbours
I haven't seen it since about 1989. Are Kylie and Jason still on it?

Re: Neighbours
I suggest some main character will get horribly burned (probably female), require plastic surgery and spend several weeks in hospital with 'bandages' on their face, then come back in a few weeks and the new face will happen to be that of the new all-singing, all-dancing pop superstar Casey Donovan
Or, they could just leave her with the disfiguring burns and it'll be pretty much the same amount of eye-candy either way...

Re: Neighbours
It looks like noone will die actually.
It's "all tense", but at the beginning all the characters that might die (Max, Sindi, Stu) are all there in the introduction when the music plays.
Hooray!

Re: Neighbours
I thought 2 people were meant to die over the season ending though I am guessing one of them is Lynn's father which is a tad crap.

Even when characters do leave they generally take ages to remove them from that.
*spoilers*
Though Sindi and Stu do survive but Stu ends up blind.

oh well, anyway, the two that died were charlie and (i think) Darcy. I seem to remember karl mentioning it in passing a couple of episodes ago
still,
thouroughly good stuff.

Reading the link that LHC posted it is apparently
***spoilers warning***
Gus who dies. Which I personally thought a bit of a cop out seeing as he has been gone for so long and isn't a major character which is what I was expecting.

Also didn't Darcy just slip further into a coma, rather than die?

Re: Neighbours
Which one was Gus again? I don't watch it that regularly and tend to lose track of some of the characters who've joined.

Re: Neighbours
one of my distinct childhood memories is watching his video* on this childrens cookery programme early one saturday or sunday morning, cheryl baker was presenting and i remember thinking then;
a)this video is shit
b)cheryl baker is a little disturbing
*where he wears a large black leather jacket and looks a bit of an idiot

Neighbours is your punishment for sending the convicts over here, so their descendants send you back rubbish TV
It's actually quite unfair to you
