Re: OK bail bandits, time to give yourself up...
The amount of authority we live under is a disgrace.
The police have all this power to take away peoples freedom and to take money in the forms of fines and the like. Who do they think they are.
'We are like, people in authority and therefore have a right to lock you up.'
No you don't. I choose not to live under this oppression.
From this point onwards, I declare the land that I own to be a country independent of the United Kingdom. I will pay taxes to the government of this state (me), I shall have a police force (me), a fire brigade (my common sense), an hospital service (my first aid training + kit) and an armed forces (me + my knife / air rifle).
Should anyone disagree with this, then please inform the MoD who can make appropriate arrangements to again invade a peaceful country. They can then send the Army in to take the land back, but I will go down fighting*.
Thankyou.
*Unless I am mobilised for said invasion, in which case I shall make alternate arrangements.

A handful of nuclear weapons would be pretty significant. You're assigning an Either/or relationship that doesn't exist.

If you possibly could do that, they could then set up a border around your house and not let you out of your country. You would need to have an established passport also in order to go to the shops or visit friends, and the government could just say they dont want you in their country and leave you in your house to starve.
