From what I can gather the alliance is still due to be disbanded today, they are just getting things in place. As such the fact they are now 2 members up at this point is just not on. Its alot better than promoting internally just for the sake of it. Those who werent happy about being passed over would have been for a reason, that they simply werent good enoughand showed no potential. Too many people seem to think being a long standing member is an automcatic right to being placed in a command position (and often too many HC's hold that view also) but if they arent upto the job and havent shown anything to suggest they are then they deserve to be passed over and if someone with a proven pedigree can fill a gap then its the way to go (as long as they obviously fit in with the alliance)

There were a number of people that would have been suitable for the job. Maybe they wouldn't have been as good as Kargool but they would have done the job fine.

For the record I have no problem with Kargool personally, or what he did during his short time as HC. I think he could have helped to take us places if the alliance had lasted longer. The problem is his appointment and the way it was handled. notsure posted that he did not have a higher status than the other HC. This doesn't matter though, what matters is that he was allowed to look like a despot. Steps should have been taken to prevent this from happening. The other HC are as to blame or perhaps even more to blame than Kargool in this regard.

Again though even if there are suitable people on paper its another thing to be suitable in practice. Some of the worst HC's in F-Crews history has been those whom have had the skills but were unproven and once appointed it became clear they simply didnt have the attitude to be in a HC position.

As for Kargool appesring to be a despot. The problem is as even as the HC actually is you need that figurehead in place whom does the majority of the announcements, pr and such like and that role is best filled by the most active and experianced member of the hc. In APA's case this was Kargool was head and shoulders above everyone else and was the only real candidate for the role

Wakey there is always another option that you have not considered.

[APA] are not the type to mess things up for anyone else, it looks like they have a plan.

Anyway,

Yes its a shame to see the alliance go and i will miss a lot of the players, in this day and age anything is possible maybe not likely. But they could be back in one form or another.
