Wireless Bridge

Help my frienduns.

I have the D-Link DWL-G810 wireless bridge and a Netgear DG834G v2 router (I'm on ADSL). It tells me to attach the bridge to my PC and run the wizard. I've set the bridge with IP 192.168.0.30 and setup SSID of "mmnetwork" with WEP 128bit. On my router I have setup with the same SSID and the same key. In my router, I have turned Wireless Access Control on and added the bridge's MAC address to it. Now when I remove the ethernet cable from my router to bridge and connect my bridge to my PS2 as the crappy D-Link instructions say, the router doesn't pick up the bridge anymore. Why?

Any help appreciated thanks.
