Tips for curing hang-overs?
I really, really need a few good ones. Please?
I'll start;
A glass of limonade in the morning makes everything taste much better on the way up again.

Re: Tips for curing hang-overs?
I find drinking lots of water to be the best cure.
Although on an episode of Brainiac they tested lots of different methods and they found that the best cure was drinking a couple pints of lager.

Enormous fry-up, one cup of coffee with sugar and four pints of water.

Re: Tips for curing hang-overs?
I had one like that a few weeks ago (everything came up). I cured it by drinking one shot of tequila, lots and lots of bacon and ham, water and coffe. I think that even without the tequila it would work
Also, allergic pills are supposed to be the shit. Never tried it thought

milk thistle is supposed to be good, I have a mate who swears by it. I prefer lucozade to water, hydrates you faster and has a bit of taste to it.
Another tip is not to take asprin for a headache the day after, as it inhibits the breakdown of alcohol in the bloodstream.

I was about to mention that. I tried it a couple of times (you take the pill before you start drinking), and I never got hangover after it. I was very exhausted though, and too tired to do anything at all the day after, so I stopped.
Today things are hard to look at, and the light is coming from everywhere and I'm pretty much in pain, so I kind of regret it at the moment.

Re: Tips for curing hang-overs?
Drink litres of water before you go to bed and you'll be fine in the morning. Maybe you'll have a headache, but that's easily cured with a pill Milk is good too.

Re: Tips for curing hang-overs?
I find that if I have a cup of tea and some toast when I get home from the pub I never get a hangover. Equally you could train yourself to stop drinking when you've had enough, or alternatively train yourself to be able to drink more. The latter might mean several weeks of hangovers until you get used to it :\

Re: Tips for curing hang-overs?
have 2-3 pints of water by your bed for the night. when you inevitably wake up to toss and turn, shit and piss, drink as much ****ing water as possible.
The next day, get a can of heinz tomato soup and heat it up, then pour it into a pint glass. wait till its at the right temperature, then drink it - not down it, but drink it like you'd drink coffee.
Eat a ridiculous amount of food but make sure to have fruit juice with it.

Re: Tips for curing hang-overs?
I find that Cyclizine and Domperidone cure them
Pity they're only available on prescription

Re: Tips for curing hang-overs?
Yep, eat loads of foodies, just to help electrolytic levels get back to normal; couple pints of water to combat dehydration, and maybe one paracetamol to help ease the pain.

I thought only salty foods helped your electrolytic levels?
I can't eat a load of cake to help them, for instance
