cell phones
like, i need a new one. still have a SIM card etc, but i need a new cell phone

i just need to call, be called, text, be texted, store numbers.. have long battery life.. needs to have a .. erh.. vibration function, i remember a previous one of mine not having that.. etc.. don't need anything 'that funky', but i do want to have a network at all times, not like with the crappy old phone that just died.-ish.

you lot are smart

what are the good phones?

all of them do what you want.
Nokia's are easiest to used.
Samsung's have shit battery life generally.
Sony Ericssons are meant to have the best battery life.

Get a cheap Nokia 3310 or something, it's easy to use and does everything you need.

Mobile phone.

BTW - I only said 3310 because it's basic and therefore cheap. If you want a better phone the 6100 is pretty good but there are newer versions which are better. I've always thought the 6100 is a girly phone... the 6610 is the mans version.
the 5100 is pretty good as well because it's water/dust/bump resistant.

It looks less like a girly phone.
And 8g and 4mm isn't much.
I advised my (ex) gf to get the 6100. But for me I'd prefer the 6610.
The radio could be pretty useful as well.

As it is I prefer Sony Ericssons.
