anyone go there? more to the point, anyone doing Computer Science with Games Development? If so, is it any good and is it worth moving up there from down south?

check out the university of central lancashire, they've just announced a dedicated game dev degree, and then told us we can't switch to it as an option when moving to year 2, the bastards.

I know a couple of MSPs from Hull, they seemed like good lads and enjoyed their courses though what exactly they studied I'm unsure. Their CS dept. has good links with Microsoft (one of their lecturers was a mentor at the Imagine Cup final, nice bloke, didn't buy me a pint) though a lot of the southern unis do. Could probably put you in touch with a couple of students from there if you don't find any here.

My bro goes there and loves it. It seems like a pretty decent place when i've gone to visit. No idea what the comp sci department is like, the best way to find out is to go up and look.
