Random block draw

All the discussion about tag size, BP size, and issue with the current game features aside.
Arguments about why PA is a very boring and predictable game at the current date is the politics.
Politics in PA is not suppose to be "fluent", it never was back in its glory days.
It was usualy two or three big blocks containing numerous alliances, bashing together, and for many years this was very entertaining meta.

What about giving it a new go with "hard coding" it?
Instead of only having two options, random or a set budy pack, what about a "allie buddypack".
All randoms in a alliance will land in gal with two other alliances, wich is decide upon prior allie rankings.
You could have 3 tiers. And say the draw was for side A was BF/FL/BowS/HR, and side B P3ng/CT/Ult/ND.
All players who did not have a buddy pack and within a tag at certain tick would be placed into gals containing 2-3 planets from each alliance based on size of the allies at that tick.

This is ofc a idea i dont expect to get much support for, or an idea i would stand behind myself atm.

But im not sure that this "Free For All" idea is working for a game like planetarion. In the past good politics meant that you were able to cooperate good with another alliance in reaching a certain goal, now such cooporation is often frawned upon if its set up preround, and the univers will simply just make sure that such alliances is quickly trashed if possibole.
