Injury
Somehow I managed to injure one of my muscles in my abdomen. No clue how I managed it, but I did. When I get up from a chair I feel it, I cannot run, which is annoying, sit-ups are totally killer and apperently I should have 'rest'.
Really, no clue how I managed this.
But sitting behind a pc is already a nice task, every time I lean back I have to use support to put myself up again, so I do not stress those muscles too much.
Anyone else had strange injuries?

Re: Injury
Maybe it's from shagging too many 16 year olds, I hear that gives strange abdominal pains.

Re: Injury
ITT Hans has strained his "heterosexuality muscle" because he hadn't used it for a while and when he did exercise it he didn't warm up properly.

Re: Injury
Can you take a picture of your abs and then put it up?
Then we can all play doctor and find the fault.

Yeah, last week.
Went swimming at weekend
Paddle rolling a canoe lots on Monday night
Swimming Tuesday Morning
Walking back I sneezed a big manly man sneeze and my back just ****s up. Had to stop and recover for a bit before I (very) carefully walked home. Then just kinda lay there for an hour thinking 'ow'. :/
Still feel it a bit now, but at least I don't have to worry about it as much anymore.
Don't want it to happen again.
While we're discussing such agonies; any ideas how I can help my poor back?

Re: Injury
sounds like you overstretched it, keep using it, but don't 'use it into extremes' (i.e. no sit ups) but do not 'stop using it, then it will get stiff and recovery will take longer.
Also, keep it warm, if you have a thermobandage, a bandage that makes sure that the place it is wrapped around is kept warm, usually around 36/37 C.

Re: Injury
swimming is good. keep it warm tho, since the water will cool your muscles off, only swim in the water, stay active in the water ... and maybe get a sauna if there is one there

Re: Injury
A friend of mine stabbed me with a boxcutter last week. It still hurts like hell, and I can't kick, run or work out!
Not that I was doing much of it anyway!

Re: Injury
I hadsome bread and butter earlier which had one off on the 3rd of this month and now I feel a bit sick. Not sure if this is just coincidence or not but I've chucked it out in any case.

Oww. Painful but kind of lucky in a way. It couls have been much worse and he couls have tipped it all over himself rather than just his thigh.
