well, first, I didnt organise the attack, I just recruited GOAT for Hippler, so that Hippler can claim this attack as victory for itsself.
I only calced the attack. and my calcs for the first 2 ticks were right. and that we cant stay the 3rd tick, you could see already in newsscan. :P
thats why we orderd recall after the second tick. is it my fault if some people forget it or dont check?
till yet I dont know of any ToT (or Hippler ) members who stayed the third tick.
so congrats for this nice tick3, but as long as it were none of our fleets in, I also dont care.

In such situations its quite common knowledge that half of the fleets will fail to recall on time, with that in mind you should have stayed full force to have less general loses and more LDK damage.
but hey, I am not complaining

Wasting all those ships on a single planet where as ya could have split them up to hit medium-small planets wiping them out first. If your trying to knock off someone ya do not calc to make it "even" not when their winning , cause their losses are obviously easier to make back up than the people who are attacking. LDK is winning cause people kill their own alliances fleet.

round 4 was free an example of how this was abused was taluskya. round 6 had free random planets and priv gals could allow 5 randoms in Silvercity did this quite well. Round 8 you are correct though.

Well, that's debateable. Whether he had the sense to delete it or whether he was ordered to delete it could be argued.

Was asked to delete it before we landed.
We still belived we would get through at that time tho.... But it was mostly based on estimates. So reason for closing the thread was originally to avoid to appear as we where gloating and showing force, not to avoid getting it all in our face.
Remember I was asked if I could help a bit with calcing. And they had assigned the job to about 6++ scanners to scan this and was collected.. for some reason the scans of the attackers disapeared. And we only knew what was awaiting us as defence.
An estimate over the planets was involved was done.. and total score of attacking planets was larger then defending. And at that time I think we where kinda trapped, a bit to late to call it off and avoid huge fleet losses for thoose not recalling, and since we still had a chance...
oh well...
As for this attack, u can't claim victory for first 2 ticks when the third tick is eough to make the involved alliances hc's weeping for days.
