Are you a new player, not very sure what you're doing?

Are you an older player returning to PA, needing someone to talk you through the changes to PA?

Have you been an alliance member for a while and want to try your hand at a BC or DC position but not getting the chance?

Are you an experienced player that wants to join and help out other players?

If the answer to any of those questions is yes, come to #insurrection and PM me or Ptraci for a chat.

Insurrection was created in r17 and are looking for members who want to be active but are not too sure of IRC or need some help with the game. The only requirements are that you are active and have a sense of humour. Insurrection HC have experience with teaching a variety of player abilities the basics of IRC and using an alliance bot to organise attacks and defence. If you have never used IRC before you can use the in-game com-unit, or send me a private message on these forums.

We are also recruiting for more experienced players to take on training positions to help out training newer players.

Yeah, like that ever happens in any alliance. Usually they're begging for you to step forward

Insurrection is the best, and you all know it!

On a serious note, Insurrection is very much pro-beginner, and helps throughout the game, advice, def, resources. Recommendable for both new and experienced players, as it is fair and lets everyone have a go at the jobs, if they're good enough.

We're doing really well at the moment in Insurrection, so anyone still unsure about an alliance choice should definitely drop in sometime to see what its like and the people involved.

We've just set up a mentoring system where each experienced player takes a few players under their wing and shows them the ropes. The mentor is responsible for answering any questions, teaching players how to use a battlecalc, teaching players how to pick a target and how to decide what's needed for defence. The system has been running about a week and seems to be working well so far.

gl to both of you. When you see people like this trying to put effort in for new players then that earns a lot of respect. And as i know them both well i know for a fact they will work hard to train new players up etc. Gud luck to both of you.

It'll be interesting to hear how things develop as new players learn the ropes. Keep us informed!
