My ranking on the Ladbrokes site can be found here
You have $7,704.82 Poker Chips. The floating exchange rate for purchasing and cashing in US Dollar Poker Chips is: £0.5679 to US $1 Chip
Which means i have £4375.56
"Nice" etc :)

I just started playing for real money on pokerroom.
I deposited $40 and was up to $50. Foolishly i'm now down to $31

Re: Hurrah \o/
I just wanted some practice with real money so people play properly.
I don't even know what this means, $100+9 REBUY. $100 buy-in and you're able to rebuy? But what about the +9?
Oh and congrats Dace

Re: Hurrah \o/
+9 goes to the house, its usually 10%ish of the buy in cost

Re: Hurrah \o/
Cheers, just figured that out.
Do you tend to play with actual money or do you get for example $1000's worth of chips or something?

Re: Hurrah \o/
You get 1500 chips.
Rebuy wise you can rebuy up to 250 times in the first hour and are allowed one add on at the end of the hour.
You dont have to pay the $9 to the house when you rebuy.

Prolly about a thousand.
As such my hourly rate kinda sucks atm.
However, as i keep on trying to "advise" nod ... the likes of Roddick/Woods/Beckham didnt make money in the first 1k hours of practising their choosen sport whether it be tennis/golf/football.
As such any money i'm making is a "bonus"
I'm really just starting my poker "career" and i have plenty still to learn.
Once i get even better than i am now that's when the big bucks will start to roll in.
I await that day with great anticipation :)

If you wanted to, couldn't you make damn nice bucks 6/7/8-tabling $1/$2 tables on Partypoker? If you've got the sleeping patters for it, it's filled up with Americans at night
I know I'm making steady money 4-tabling sit'n'go's (up $300 playing 5-8 hours a week since late April), and I'm not very good at all.

I've only had about 40 hours experience in ring games and i've tended to lose money when i play them.
The game style between tournament and ring is quite a bit different.
I think i'll just focus on playing tournaments for now.
