Parkour Pics
These are the photos I've taken today (27th) and last week (20th) at Shell Centre and along Southbank in London outside Waterloo. The second album only has several pics because I lost my SD card so I had to make do with the 2MB internal memory - the resolutions of them aren't that good but I've done my best to make them more interesting.
Nothing has changed with any of these pictures other than editing levels, brightness/contrast & in case of 2nd album (20th) just some bluring and saturation effects Enjoy.

Re: Parkour Pics
Because gayness is the cancerous root at the heart of our morally-lacking society and it should be weeded out at every opportunity!!!

Re: Parkour Pics
Dude, those guys look like a bunch of disturbed skate-boarder kids without skateboards so they just decided to head out to the park and start running around, jumping, for no apparent reason.
It would've been cool to see skateboarders because I used to board back in the day - but without the skates, what the **** exactly were you guys doing out there?

Demi, I thought the same thing, but the "community" seemed to accept it, so I figured maybe, just maybe, somewhere in this vast world we live in, its thought as cool to jump over someones head, take a picture of it, then post it on a Galaxy game forums.
Ironically, I actually like the pic of the guy running up the wall. I also liked the pic where the other guy jumped over the sitting guys head. Though the pic would have been 1000 times better if the guy sitting didn't have such a girly smile.

Re: Parkour Pics
Skating / hanging outside the Southbank is a well established "cool" thing to do. A lot of the "drunk punks" do it.

Read this
I remember seeing a documentary about these two French guys who just ran around Paris/somewhere, jumping over, across, between , up and down buildings, walls, fences, anything.
For the first ten minutes I just thought 'wtf', but after that, it was pretty interesting. Those guys could do some amazing stuff, not that I'm about to go running around Fort Lauderdale for a fix, but still, interesting stuff.

Re: Parkour Pics
I've just read those comments. I've been participating in Parkour (same as free-running for all those confused :P ) for the last several months. I don't always go to Shell Centre - most of the time I'm either at Leap of Faith about 1minute away from Liverpool Street station or by Walthamstow Town Hall which is ace. Since Shell Centre has been depleased, many of us regulars just go there to help any newbies with advice, use it as a warm-up before we may our way up and down Southbank not forgetting to search for new hotspots.
Anyway, here's a nifty defintion set some of us devised @ UF:
A creative practice in which the runner uses only his or her body to navigate their environment with efficiency of movement, flow and style. The ultimate goal in parkour is to ‘flow’ along one’s path with a rhythm. Those that practice the art of Parkour are referred to as Freerunners (or Traceurs) and they believe that there is path to every obstacle which is achieved through forward movement.
So how did Parkour come about? Well to start off with we were made with the ability to move. Everyone has this ability, whether it is all over body movement or only lip movement. There are those who use this ability to move to a higher degree than others. They view their environment not as full of objects that will get in the way, but full of objects to overcome. This is done not only physically but mentally as well. This is gained by manifesting your movements into a rhythmic fluid singular motion, like water which is done over, under, around any obstacles that the urban environment may throw in their paths.

I understand this part, but why do you do it in a park? It seems to restrict free movement somewhat.

it's not mainly done in a park - more done in cities etc - it can be done anywhere - urban or rural
