Is this mean?
At uni, we have a housemate who works at the unions club. On a Friday night, after a hard nights work, he tends to get home between 2 and 3 am, at which point he goes up to bed. As you are I am sure aware, it is Friday night, he'll be home in about 5 hours, so me and Kloopy did this. To the left of Kloopy (pictured) is the front door he has to come through before proceeding up the stairs (the bannister just shows appearing on the left) to bed.
I can't wait for him to come home. I am just glad I have a lock on my door, he's a lot bigger than me.

I also want to cellotape 20 party poppers to the door and the door frame so that when opening the front door in a tired post-work daze, he's shocked into Bashar and my balloon reality by an almighty bang!

Sadly, they wouldn't stick to the door, we had to do it to the latch. We only have crap sellotape.

Next time it's fire crackers, triggered by key in the lock.
We really should have put a little chilli powder in each balloon. :/

The worst thing about doing it in the Hall is that both Bashar and I are trapped in our rooms. Drinking beer all evening means going to the loo. And with that lot in the way, getting to the toilet isn't easy! :-(

All that puffing. Remind me. There was a song, when I were a wee lad. Purple dragons or something. Some place. Puffing. Man, it was a good tune. Errr... Magic dragon or something. Anyone remember it?

Re: Is this mean?
PUFF, the magic dragon lived by the sea
And frolicked in the autumn mist in a land called Honah Lee,
Little Jackie Paper loved that rascal PUFF,
and brought him strings and sealing wax and other fancy stuff.
OH PUFF, the magic dragon lived by the sea
And frolicked in the autumn mist in a land called Honah Lee,
PUFF, the magic dragon lived by the sea
And frolicked in the autumn mist in a land called Honah Lee,
Together they would travel on a boat with billowed sail
Jackie kept a lookout perched on PUFF's gigantic tail,
Noble kings and princes would bow whenever they came,
Pirate ships would lower their flag when PUFF roared out his name
OH, PUFF, the magic dragon lived by the sea
And frolicked in the autumn mist in a land called Honah Lee,
PUFF, the magic dragon lived by the sea
And frolicked in the autumn mist in a land called Honah Lee,
A dragon lives forever but not so little boys
Painted wings and giant rings make way for other toys.
One grey night it happened, Jackie Paper came no more
And PUFF that mighty dragon, he ceased his fearless roar.
PUFF, the magic dragon lived by the sea
And frolicked in the autumn mist in a land called Honah Lee,
PUFF, the magic dragon lived by the sea
And frolicked in the autumn mist in a land called Honah Lee,
His head was bent in sorrow, green scales fell like rain,
PUFF no longer went to play along the cherry lane.
Without his life-long friend, PUFF could not be brave,
So PUFF that mighty dragon sadly slipped into his cave.
Oh! PUFF, the magic dragon lived by the sea
And frolicked in the autumn mist in a land called Honah Lee,
PUFF, the magic dragon lived by the sea
And frolicked in the autumn mist in a land called Honah Lee
Turned out it was about smoking cannibis

Re: Is this mean?
If you like we could go down to the sea
We could watch the evening tide - catch the boat to Honalee
We could fly above the dark city
Gettin higher in the sky with every breath you breathe
And if you cry about the things you leave
It's yourself you should be asking, about what you really need
And you know it is no lie - For it only takes belief
A big splat of green reputation points to whoever can name the band and song!

Damn it. It appears he enjoyed it. There were plenty of naughty words muttered as he was popping them last night though. And Christ, do you know how long it takes to pop 750 balloons, even with a knife?
I bet it's not only the other housemate who was woken up, the neighbours on both sides too! Still... was I laughed lots when he said "***ing hell, MORE balloons? How many did they ****ing blow up?"

Puff the magic dragon lived on a shelf,
he had noone to play with so he played with himself
he got himself a girlfriend, but that was not enough
he got himself a boyfriend and that's why we call him puff.
oh and
There should have been a few 'special balloons' with something in. Shaving foam is what we've used before.

Re: Is this mean?
I've spoken to him and he spent 20 minutes tidying up. I don't think he got the idea of being pranked properly. You're not meant to tidy up if you've been had! Heh.
Anyway, he promises he's got a few ideas to get us back and he's willing to go to moderate expense to pull them off.
I dunno about his hearing, but I'm going to flinch at the sound of baloons for a while! It makes me laugh thinking how long it took him to burst them all. It's all summed up by an SMS Bashar sent me from his room: "I've lost count!"
