Legal advice.
For your information, the company will close for the
Christmas/New Year period on Friday 24th December 2004 and re-open on
Tuesday 4th January 2005. Three days of your annual holiday entitlement
will be used to cover the days of Wednesday 29th, Thursday 30th and
Friday 31st December.



Is this legal, can they actually take three days holiday off our entitlement without giving us option because they decide to close?

That pretty badly sucks.

At my work, the entire time of 24th Dec to 5 Jan is giving off, and only one's day worth of holiday is taking away automatically.

Although some people here have the cheek to complain about that one day.....!
