Perhaps im getting old
Its odd , but something all those of you who are up to date and "With It" seem to cotton onto takes me considerably longer to find or appreciate nowadays.
For instance , its taken until Daredevil came out on CD for me to be able to appreciate Evanescence , and order the Daredevil soundtrack and the Album "Fallen".
Why exactly didnt you lot shout "This lot are a bit special" on the boards earlier to bring my attention to said band, and the absoloutely angelic lead vocalist.

my brother kicked up a fuss about them last year or sum such
hes now claiming hes single handedly responsible for rising them to their current fame.
(he told all his friends who told all their friends who told their friends etc etc until the world knew)
incidently
i have the cd in the car.
i prefer listenined to matchbox 20 or bad boys 2 soundtrack depending on mood
or

I always thought Matchbox20 were a load of complete tosswank. Maybe thats just me.
I do not as yet own "Fallen" ... its en route from Play.Com. The Daredevil soundtrack however is outstanding, and deserves to sell bucketloads. The movie is probably the best comic book movie of the year too , which unfortunately isnt saying much.
My Tip for Pre-Ordering : Underworld - The Soundtrack
The Matrix with Vampires and Werewolves, and an appropriate soundtrack ... clearly teh win!

Underworld hasnt been released yet.
However my tips for next 'biggy' would be Scary Movie 3 and for those interested in real horror (supposedly) theyve made Freddie Vs Jason and also remade The Texas Chain Saw Massacre.

Freddy vs Jason is widely regarded as one of the worst films ever made.

Moviewise , im only tipping Underworld (as i did about 2 months ago when i saw the trailer), as the only other real winners from now till Christmas will be LOTR3 , Matrix 3 and The Last Samurai.
Scary Movie is a tired , overrated franchise which i pray Bombs.
Freddy v Jason is kitsch central. Cheesier than Meaple's knob.
And a remake of TCM ... oh christ , bearing in mind the original is scary based on what you DONT see , and the anticipation of whats coming , im betting the remake will be a crap, half assed slasher flick which nobody will watch.
Speaking of which , Jeepers Creepers 2 is out shortly. Do NOT go and see this film!

Jeepers Creepers is scary because there's 2 monsters.
In Jeepers Creepers 2, there's 3!

What's that film I keep seeing ads for on TV at the moment, presumably just come out on DVD. Every single thing about the trailer screams "HI, I'M A MATRIX RIPOFF!", long coats + fancy gunfighting etc.

If you think she's good, definitely check out Nightwish. I think everyone who has heard both will agree Nightwish > Evanesence. Also check out After Forever and Tristania, who are good, but not as good as Nightwish.

That is possibly the most unoriginal plot ever.

I quite liked equilibrium. Admittedly , the opposition were awful, and the ending was average, and Sean Bean was criminally underused and killed off Early , but APART from that the whole idea was ...... not too bad.

I actually refuse to believe that. I will withhold total condemnation until I see the film however.

I've not seen this particular plot before. It is utterly and totally moronic, not to mention unbelievable and ill researched (fascism actually thrives on stimulating 'feeling').
So completely ****e, yes, but not unoriginal

Its not a Matrix ripoff in that theres no great conspiracy theory, however there are far too many generic bad guys in trenchcoats with automatic weapons.
The concept of the hero is interesting though ..... how to kill with maximum efficiency without any Namby Pamby Matrix style somersaults and such. Simply get into position and arc your body for the most efficient Killshots.

yes , but by restricting emotion, you prevent any form of uprising. thus , the fascists can stay in power and perform any task they wish without any feeling of resentment towards them.
