Oh my god, I found a use for Linkin Park!
Excellent music to run around UT2003 levels killing people to.
Which is exactly what their music makes you want to do!
Brilliant!

Don't you "find a use" for Linkin Park every couple of months?

Aren't you meant to be on my side, mister fellow mod person?
That was just one song when I was depressed. And that was the FIRST TIME damn you.
This was more a case of me getting sick to death of the standard UT2003 tunes and thinking "I wonder if..."

he walked through the rain and he walked through the mud
Till he came to a place called The Bucket Of Blood
Stagger Lee
He said "Mr Mother****er, you know who I am"
The barkeeper said, "No, and I don't give a good goddamn"
To Stagger Lee
He said, "Well bartender, it's plain to see
I'm that bad mother****er called Stagger Lee"
Mr. Stagger Lee
Barkeep said, "Yeah, I've heard your name down the way
And I kick mother****ing asses like you every day"
Mr Stagger Lee
Well those were the last words that the barkeep said
'Cause Stag put four holes in his mother****ing head

I stand by my 'heh'.
I destroyed my flatmate's love of them by predicting, based on a song that I'd not heard yet, the exact structure of it.
I did this for a whole album.
I was mostly right.

in fairness a lot of bands are very generic in that way, the worst one for it being Iron Maiden imho.
However, Iron Maiden dont suck bollocks.

I agree with you people that Linkin Park are very predictable and some songs are the same. I think their first album was the best, Re-Animation was a load of ****e! Half the songs on Meteora are okay, but yeah, depressing lyrics if you actually listen to them, I tend to just sing the words in my mind and not take in the words! :P
On the other hand.. Muse 0wnz all :P

Only use Ive found for them is using it to scare off cats fighting in my garden at night. The screeching of linkin park sounds exactly like the screeching of a very big cat and scares them right off
