BBC Three
May i be the first to predict its failure, and withdrawal to the embarrassment of the Beeb.
Thankyou.

It won't be withdrawn, it'll just bumble on and get even more filled with repeats.

It's 'targetted' at 'young adults'.
Eh? Hello, isn't that already pretty much what BBC1, ITV1, C4, C5, E4, Sky One etc. do already? The BBC should spend it's time on broadcasting services available to all, not just those with digital or Sky.

heh, indeed. The waste of funds spent on this will mean BBC will have even crapper sport. I suppose darts and snooker will be sold off to ITV

Who watches snooker anyway? It's a good pub game, but to watch it is so damn boring. Same with darts.

this was my point.
the bbc has such amazingly intense sports as bowls, athletics, darts, snooker, and cricket. Not all cricket either, c4 has alot of it. They even lost the dullness known as formula one to itv.

As long as they keep the football world cup!
Not that I'll watch it anyway, since England won't qualify.

AFAIK, The law basically says they "have" to have it. Otherwise they wouldn't.

I don't mind BBC Choice (as I shall continue calling it, much in the same way elderly people refer to Snickers as Marathon) in that it lets me see episodes of the new series of 24 one week ahead of the plebs with normal BBC. Other than that theres not much on it.
