Re: Emo Wrestlers?
Hehe yup.
This angle started up at the recent pay per view where Tim White "commited suicide". WWE then got loads of bad rep for it and had to turn it into something comical otherwise they get in the pooper.

I haven't watched wresting for about.... 4 years now I'd say. It doesn't sound like it's improved much.

I cant watch it as she-who-must-be-obeyed wields the remote control like a lightsabre, but as last weeks show had a full size bed in the ring and the champion celebrating his win by threatening to have full sex in the ring, Id say its reached about as low as its going to get.

It didn't.
I believe it retains a certain appeal amongst those who we might generously refer to as "challenged".

Re: Emo Wrestlers?
Me and Blastoderm discussed wrestling in some PM's briefly.
My viewpoint on the WWE is that it's exactly that, entertainment. It isn't what the WWFederation was and it tries too hard. It's just pants now I don't watch it much except for the PPV's. As for wrestling, ROH is purely-contact wrestling no scripting bollocks.
TNA is a bit like WWE but not as shit and worth it if you at least like anything. Oldies like Christian Cage, Jeff Jerret, recently Sting has joined are in it as well as Team 3D and something no other wrestling identity has, the X-Division with one blob who can fly, Samoa Joe. He also wrestles in ROH promotions like a lot of the other TNA X-Division guys.
