Not that difficult to figure out really, says start by pressing space.
Then, when the skier is sliding down the hill you hold down space and two bars appear. Use cursors to adjust what kind of jump you wan't, then release space when the skier reaches end of ramp. Adjust the jump in air with cursor keys so you land ok.
Learned that by experimenting, quite fun game.
