Anyone mentioning Titanic will be abused

Those are sequels, not remakes.
Also, Final Destination 2 was just as **** as the first.

In a way, The Fly.
Only in a way though. The original was good because it was black and white which added to the spookyness, but the remake was great because they were able to do more special effects and make the teleporters look more like you would expect.
But the remake was very limited on its betterness.

Anything made before the seventies and remade afterwards because no film made before 1970 was able to be good.

The Sheikh. The version with Nod playing the title role.
It's a little known Scottish/Chinese collaboration of 1998. I wouldn't expect many people to know of it.
Still good though.

"The Thing"
John Carpenter went to town with this remake The old one is more like "Plan 9 from outer space" in comparison.

not sure, but if they ever decide to remake 2001 like they're threatening to, i'll go out there and rip their limbs off.

Surely they'd be better off doing 2061: odyssey three or 3001: the final odyssey first?
Not that I've read the books, for all I know they're pish.

Why wait? Then we could sell our stories to The News of The World and live happily ever after.
I can see the headlines now:
2001 BEAST WAS 17-HOURS A DAY NET-FIEND.
JORDAN IS SHAGGING SOMEONE AND HAS INSULTED A WOMAN.
PAEDOPHILES ARE EVIL SCUM.
etc.
