just how embarrassing is it
to go to a 'single party'? Even if you are single, going to such an event looks far too 'needy' for me.
I do have a good excuse, some firend of mine fancies some girl who works there. We were there tuesday a week ago, noone else was, because, seriously, who the hell goes to a club in the middle of nowhere midweeks? anyway, he chatted for like ten minutes with that girl, but, beeing as much of a coward as i am, he didnt ask her for her number. However, she told him that she likes 'black music' and usually works saturdays.
So we went there again on saturday. Ofc, she wasnt there, but at least there were a few more people this time. First attempt failed.
The next day there was some black-music event. (that was sunday, but monday was 'German Unification Day', so noone had to work. As if the reunion is anything to celebrate...) We thought maybe she would be there that day. So, instead of going to some other place with better music and people more of our age group we went there again.
Again, she wasnt there. The music was slightly better than the day before, but still bad. At least i didnt need to drive and could drink, second attempt failed.
If it wasnt for a job interview he had on wednesday my friend would have talked me into going again on tuesday.
Now we are going to go to that 'single party' tomorrow. She wont be there, instead, the audience will be 90% horny males and 10% women (well, what do i care? i cant 'pull' anyways ). the music is going to be bad. on the other hand, there is going to be some Becks promotion event, so that i can get drunk rather cheaply.
The girl wants to get into marketing, and i would say she already has a pretty good idea about customer retention.

(boring story, but i felt like sharing)

Ive never been to one of those. A flatmate went to a traffic light party dressed totally in green. He came back with a girl who was a cross between bigfoot and Herman Munster. Oddly enough she was green like herman munster too.

They talked in the kitchen for awhile and then went back to his room to make sweet neandathol love.

more hiphop and r&b. i alwaysw thought i would like that kind of music, but whatever they played i did not . that friend of mine doesnt like it at all. the girl seemed to be nice, but not overly attractive. but as i said, i dont need to drive and can get drunk. with enough alcohol all music sounds nice
