ok i've landed very very rate in this round, but by chance in a very nice gal

i cant wait to get out and get roiding...and of course receiving hoooge donations off my gal m8s...

which strikes me.....would it be possible to make protection optional?

right now if i was out of protection i could sign up to what seems to me a strong alliance, i coudl receive donations, and i could get busy having fun and playing the game

undoubtedly id be a sitting duck, but the alliancei have lined up plus my gal m8s would cover my back

theres prol many ppl in similar or have been in a similar situation

Sorry guys yes this is a great idea for late starters unfortunately to begin with didnt have the luxury of being in a good gal and wouldn't have thought of that myself

Nothing wrong with the option for this but i would like to see it only on after the first 72 ticks protection obviously at the begining of the round.

Yes, it would be specifically for people starting very late on

yeah..

ofc it would be optional so

you land in a bad gal, you can utilise the full 72 hours to prepare yourself

you land in a good gal, you can bust out of protection as early as possible and get to roiding, knowing your gal m8s will cover your weak planet, premise being - the faster ur weak planet gets roids, teh faster ur planet becomes an effective force for in gal defence, and prol the faster u can join a halfway decent allliance

it could be implemented after the ticker has reached a certain tick, and newcomers would ave the choice in their preferences screen

its not fair that people who start late and happen to land in a good gal get an extra advantage - declined
